re: calling uk physio students

Personally i did not do anything before applying but i know what some people did do
1st the grades you need and better
2nd get a job as a phsyio assistant in your local hospital
3rd if you cant get a job volunter to work as an assistant
4th observation, observation see as much as you can in every aspect of physio, if you dont live near a big hospital arrange a day were you can visit a physio department in a big hospital, cardiff would be a bonus, then travel there for the day and absorb everything, ask lots of questions
5th look round the uni (which i presume you will do anyway!) see if you can get an individual tour and again ask lots of questions, find out what and were your clinical placements will be
There's a few to be getting on with i hope that helps!
Im currently in my final year at Coventry and there are quite a few welsh people in the year, maybe you should consider Coventry uni, there coarse is very good!!
Anyway i wont try to sell it to much!!
Good luck
