Republic of Ireland agencies

Does anyone know how to work in the Republic of Ireland and whether it is necessary to join the Chartered Irish Physiotherapists Society. I know lots of agencies do the U.K. but that is not Irelend (I have already done the U.K.). I am at Sydney Uni in Australia and planning to go there after I graduate in 2004. Does anyone know my options?

In 2001, Reed Paramedic in London were looking at recruiting physios to Ireland. Check out their website at www.reed.co.uk

re: Republic of Ireland agencies

Hi Adam
Locum Group recruitment, one of the biggest UK agencies, has been placing Physios in Ireland for a while now. To my knowledge, they are the only agency with an office there dedicated to Allied health professions.
They also have an office in Australia (in Melbourne) under the name BMG Associates that can sort out for you all the necessary paperwork.
Their number is 1800 677 948.
Hope that helps.
regards
Bernard
