Runner with leg pain

Hello,

50 yr. old man here. Been having trouble with leg after running. It doesn't hurt while running, or immediately after, but over the next day or so I get a dull ache in my leg, all over but mainly in the back of my leg behind the knee. Mostly goes away after a few days, though it always hurts to squat or to bend my leg more than 120 degrees. I had recently increased my running, and also do a lot of biking. Took almost 3 weeks off but had same problems when I resumed.

Any help appreciated.

Thank you.

Re: Runner with leg pain

Hi,

See a doctor or physio.

Could be Baker's cyst, poplitius muscle problem, blood flow issues (unlikely if not pain running).

Cheers

Re: Runner with leg pain

I'd see a Physio, and have your ankle and hip mobility/stability assessed. As well
