ruptured achilles tendon
Hi there
I recently ruptured my achilles tendon whilst doing some free running  .As i went to run up a wall i heard a sort of dull snapping noise like a snapping carrot in my leg my mate also heard this. I tried to walk immediately after but was in a lot of pain. I went to see my doctor who then referred me to the hospital where after feeling my leg they said i had a partially ruptured achilles tendon and that i could either have surgery and be out of action for 2 months or have a plaster cast for 3 months. I chose to have my leg in plaster. My question is there anything i can do to speed up recovery?
