ACL Reconstruction
Hi All,
I've posted on this site before, see my "partial ACL tear thread' for more details of my injury: http://www.physiobob.com/forum/patie...-acl-tear.html (Partial ACL Tear....) Anyway, i've now been put on the waiting list for reconstructive surgury. They decided to do this after i explained to them that after 30 minutes of football, i'd lost full range of motion which i had regained after my meniscus removal. So, within the next 12 weeks i will be having the reconstrructive surgury using a patella tendon. I can still jog, hop, weight train on legs and squat, so what sort of things must i now do to help me be in the best shape i can be in before and post operation? |
