Danny - biceps curl and pulling in my neck
Hey Guys,
I'm new to this area-seems very good. Recently I started lifting dumbbells(bicep curl)15 reps-3 sets each, very basic stuff.I am a 25 yo male beginner. When I lift the weight with my right hand I get a pulling sensation down my right neck area but strangely not a thing with the left. The pain has a pulled muscle sensation altough usually subsides after a few hours.I know this is not normal or good for me.It is not a post-workout sensation.Again very basic stuff. The weights are 5kg,this is such a light weight and this is whats causing me worry. Can anybody tell what this is and how to avoid it? Should I warm up beforehand?-I simply do a quick neck stretch. Thanks |
