Exclamation Chronic pain. arm wrist & hand

In 1995 I suffered an industrial injury to my left hand resulting in 50%tissue loss in palm. After numerous operations due to infections & graft rejection a Transverse graft from fore-arm to palm was carried out in 1999.
Numerous operations followed, the last of which was from March to June of last year taking the overall amount of operations to seventeen. I suffer with chronic keloid scaring & chronic pain although I'm told no nerve damage has occurred.
I have good use of left arm & attend the Chronic pain management clinic at my local hospital. An appointment has been made for Electromyogram/Nerve conduction test to be carried out. If no significant nerve damage is found where does this leave me in terms with coping with the chronic pain issue?
