scapula

Hi,

My lower scapula seems to be sticking out in the normal anatomical position.

Sometimes on the bus i get a tight sharp pain on the medial edge of both scapula's also.

Is this because of poor or weak back musculature?

Re: scapula

Sounds like what you are describing is winging of your scapula where the medial inferior edge sits away from the thorax, usually indicative of weak Serratus anterior muscles. The tight sharp pain you describe could be muscular or possibly supra thoracic nerve

Re: scapula

hi

do press ups with extra shoulders push when arms are streight.

back flat on a wall, arm flexing, rotating.

horisontal extention with the elastic band (focus on scapular adduction-rhomboid mu),
probably ull need some posture and control correction, good to see physio or similar to design proper programme for you

all the best
