Exclamation Ptosis: problems 4 years after the operation!

Hello everyone,

I was born with congenital ptosis in the right eyelid. On November 17th, 2003 (at the age of 16) I had an operation. My both eyes look almost the same now, but I am still facing problems with the right one. For example, I sometimes wake up with a tearing, puffy, pink eye. Sometimes makeup affects it very bad; the eyelid gets so puffy and sometimes even painful and itchy. The eyelashes of my right eye have grown thicker than those of the left one. (Note that I experience a tearing eye weekly!!)
In short, I feel that my eyelid hasn't healed ever since I had that operation. Is that normal? And how long do I have to wait until I get rid of those problems? Or is it gonna be an eternal problem?
I could send a photo of my eyes after the operation to any specialist interested in helping me.

Thanks in advance!

Yours, Mariam
