GM´s Assessment of the Quality of the General Movements
dear colleagues,
The General Movements of the small infant have been described in many articles. To find out more about them, you can go to Ontwikkelingsneurologie|Developmental Neurology and order the DVD. You can also enroll into teaching courses through this website . This type of non invasive analysis is being used in more and more countries in Europe and is slowly spreading over the world as more people hear about them. Paediatric physiotherapists working in Hospitals or the first echalon with babies can learn how to video the GM´s and learn how to enterpret the results. I was trained to use them in 1999 and have always found them a fun way of checking for possible neurological problems in the very young. kind regards esther |
