Over weight children
I am thinking of setting up a two week residential programme for over weight children and their parents. Sessions would include education on exercise, diet, self esteem etc. I work in a multi disiplinary centre so the dietitian, social worker, psychologist, recreation team and myself as the physio would be involved. We aim to make it fun and interactive and hope that the families will take on board all that they have learnt to curb the growing trend of obesity in Australia. Does anyone have any advice or suggestions on running such a programme.
