This article on ALS(amyotrophic lateral sclerosis)reviews the outcome measures appropriate to measure disease progression. It lists the advantages, disadvantages, sensitivity, reliability of outcome measures,for example, respiratory function tests, muscle tests, functional capability and bulbar function tests.
