Ankle Stiffness

Hi,

I had an fracture in my right leg ankle due to an accident that i met on last february. My ankle was covered with cast for 2 months and it was removed last April. It was almost three months over after the cast has been removed, but i have stiffness in my ankle til now. Am doing sit ups (50 times daily) exercise, but the stiffness remains.What should i do to overcome the ankle stiffness ? Should i try some other exercise ? Or Should increase the amount of exercise time ?
It was really depressed since i was not able to recover fully. When i will come back to normal.

Please help me to sort out my problem.

You should have had a follow up consultation during which you should have been referred to physiotherapy, if not, consider it

I do not see how this exercise will resolve your problem, is the ankle the source of the problems?
What should i do to overcome the ankle stiffness ?
There are a variety of things that a physiotherapist could come up for you, knowing exactly what the problem is of course
Should i try some other exercise ?
Not without a thorough assessment, cookie cutter exercises do not usually resolve problems, and if they do will take a lot longer than a specific tailored programme
Or Should increase the amount of exercise time ?
I suggest attempting to get a referral to physiotherapy first
