bone density ( contraindication ?) to mechanical traction

any idea about what range of bone density is contra-indicated for mechanical traction? especially for geriatric cases? any evidence?

T-score
<1 normal.
1 - 2.5 sign of osteopenia
>2.5 osteoporosis
