Multiple epiphyseal dysplasia

Hi
I have just seen a 15y male patient with Multiple epiphyseal dysplasia. He has shin pain, (he does a little snow boarding)
I know very little about this condition. He informs me he plays rugby and runs OK with little pain. His knees are sore with PFPS type symptoms with squating.
Any ideas on management?
Ta
Ash
