inversion tables

Hello,

I have suffered from sciatica on and off for years. Following an x-ray earlier this year, my doctor says I have degeneration between L4 and L5 and sacralisation. I have heard about inversion tables and thought it would be worth giving them a try, but I have no idea which is the best one to go for. Does anyone have any impartial advice please? Thank you.
