Thumb Basal Joint

Hello,

I suffer from mild right-sided hemiplegia. With my right palm facing upwards, my thumb basal joint is elevated more than it should be. If I place the back of my hand on a hard surface and press on the joint it will move to what I believe is its correct position, making a horrible cracking sounds in the process (usually between two and four cracks.)

Any information and advice would be much appriciated.

Thanks,

Chris
