Post laminectomy
My Mom is post-op 1 week laminectomy in transitional care unit - is mobilizing on her own and using a walker for support. Some post-op low grade fever but otherwise is doing her breathing exercises and using spirometer. Sciatica is still acting up somewhat but not as bad as the first few days post-op. What kind of encouragement can I give her so as not to rush herself too fast and what type of rehab can she expect in the near future?
