Total Hip Arthroplasty and Pregnancy
Hi folks. One of my fellow physiotherapist have encountered what we think is a "different" situation. We have a 38 year old female patient that has undergone a right total hip arthroplasty October/02. Two weeks ago our patient informed us that she was pregnant and this will be her first child. So I (well we) are wondering what precautions of advice we can give her during her pregnancy, labour and after the pregnancy when she is a home taking care of her child. Any suggestions would be appreciated!
Thank you for your time and knowledge! |
