ankle sprains & the rol of the fibula
somebody have some kind of info. about the movements of the fibula when an ankle sprain occur? do they exist? if yes, what are the consecuences?

Yes, a reference would be Brian Mulligans book "Manual Therapy- NAGS , SNAGS., MWMS etc" Plane View Services, Wellington, NZ, 1999.page 107.
He suggests that the fibula moves anteriorly when an inverion sprain occurs, and that it si this movement of the fibula which causes problems. his techniques of MWM and taping focus on correcting that. It would be well worth your effort to look up his text, or go to a Mulligan course |
