intervertebral disc replacement (CHARITE)

One of the neurosurgeons here has just completed his first (and one of Australia's first) disc replacements. It's the CHARITE mark ll. Anyone out there with information on their protocols for IVR??? so far physios are not allowed to do anything until 3 weeks post-op.

re: intervertebral disc replacement (CHARITE)

Not me but I have a new client next week who has undergone a disk replacement that unfortunately "popped out" and slid down his spine (? in the spinal canal) and a few weeks later, in intense agony, had to undergo surgey again. They didn't remove it, only refixed it in place. I'll keep you all posted. richard
