inattentive patient
I have a patient that is pretty inattentive during walking in which he will look out the window or at people passing by and trip and fall. The patient is a CVA, does anybody have any good activities i can do to improve it

Re: inattentive patient
slap him in the face? I am no neuro physio but is attention a problem post-cva? Part and parcel of the problem? Is it "neglect" in that he doesn't notice the side of the CVA dysfunction?
As for activities and exercise, i am not good on these CVA pts - i would be making him aware of the problem and getting him to check himself frequently... sorry if i am not much help... |
