In Hemiplegics, Inferior or Anterior Shoulder Dislocation is the risk of consideration for a physio. It can be kept prevented by the help of a air splint (of L-shaped), which position the head of humerus in place.
there is no as such precautions or contraindications for using air splint for a Hemiplegic. It can be applied successfully, until they have got some strenght on the affected shoulder by exercises(along with using muscle stimulator)
