Normal Pressure Hydrocephalus

hi there has anyone any experience of treating older people with NPH A patient of mine has recently had a shunt fitted, and has been informed his mobility may improve over the next 12 months Any treatment protocols/ dos /donts would be very much appreciated

hi there,

thre is a questionnaire on the following website

SB&H - Spirit. Breakthrough & Hope

about NPH for your patient.
You can also get info about NPH from the website.

Once shunted some patients do improve , current literature shows a success rate from 40-87% over 1 year.
