Explanation needed-fredericks ataxia

Hi all
I have this client who has fredericks ataxia. she is 39 years old and confined to the wheelchair. She is able to do standing transfers and has no structural abnormalities. Recently she had an emotional build up as she was angry over some matter....she then actually stood up and walked..:eek ..and was very disruptive...smashing up her living room and trying to bang her carers...but after a while she cooled down and realised that she was walking. she then moved towards the wall and slid down.....and was back to her old self......

I am trying to obtain some literature that explains this event.......wish anyone could help

cheers
