walking aids and strokes
hi all,
i am in a debate witha collegue as to whether zimmer frames should be given to stroke patients within the first few weeks of insult. obviously, if the patient was a zimmer user before stroke then they can continue to use a frame but if they were independently mobile without aids should they recieve a frame on initial assessment of mobility? what would you and your collegues do? thanks for your info in advance. goth |
