Subclavian steal syndrome

Does anyone have any information regarding subclavian steal syndrome? I have had a patient referred to me with altered sensations generally in her left upper limb, with burning pain and inco-ordination post stroke. She has good range of movement and no real tonal problems and the pain and sensations she is feeling are not altered by any posture or movement. She has been diagnosed with this syndrome but I am not able to find much information about it. Does anyone know if physiotherapy can be effective in the alleviation of her symptoms?
