The use of the video camera in neurorehab

I work in a neuro rehab unit and we currently have access to a video camera for use with patients. At the moment it is used quite randomly on initial assessment, for gait analysis (very basic!) & for patients to gain some visual feedback of their progress. We are currently looking to update our equipment and to produce some guidelines in an attempt to make the use of the equipment more effective and to standardise the way in which it is used. Does anyone have any advice on the type of equipment or computer software available? Has anyone already produced guidelines for use of the video? Does anyone have any articles that look at the use of the video in neurorehab? Thanks for your help!

re: The use of the video camera in neurorehab

Look for a product at www.siliconcoach.com. This is made in New Zealand and has a great interface o measure angles and display up to for video views on screen at the same time. What's even better is the basic version costs only GBP350.
cheers ..... richard
