Outcomes and contraindications

we are currently looking at our rheumatology hydro service and are looking for some suitable outcome measures to evaluate patient improvement. What does anybody else use?? The other problem is the contraindicatoins; if you followed what we have at present nobody would be able to go in the pool. Does anybody know of any reasonable quality articles/wesites I could look at or has anybody recently formed a research based contraind/precaution list I could look at?? Looking forward to any replies!
