Conservative treatmen is inefective.
the patient will require surgery. If the patient still pushes for conservative treatment you can do 1) do a splint that will restrict mcp flexion of the affected finger. 2) use iontopheresis with cortisone 3) deep friction massage, |

I tend to agree with Werner. It is most likely that a moderate trigger finger will require surgery. Have a look to see if there is any more widespread soft tissue issue that is contributing to the problem but then perhaps refer them on to a hand specialist.
