patella taping

hi guys
i wud like to know if any one has come across "patella taping increases VMO activity in the presence of patellofemoral pain.

You should look for works by Jenny McConnell et al. There is a lot of work on this topic but all suggest that taping is only part of a combined approach that addresses many lower limb and trunk biomechanical considerations

hi,
i have read that patellar taping does increase the VMO activity.
many researchs have been done on this topic,u can chk the links given by bob.
