Hyper-intense spots on Head of the Humerus...

Hey Guys,
Any ideas whether an hyper-intense spots on the head of the humerus found on the MRI has any clinical relevence to the outcome of the treatment of the shoulder pain....

A bit vague really. Why do they have pain? Is that related in anyway to the humerus? or is it soft tissue in the surrounding area. MRI's are so overly positive we need to relate their findings to the clinical assessment and reaction to initial treatment. Often they might be irrelevant.
