male incontinence

I treat men and women with incontinence. Of the men with incontinence this is often a result of surgery. I am looking into providing prophilactic education including biofeedback education of pelvic floor muscle contractions. I will post my results as soon as they are available. If anyone does this already please let me know.

re: male incontinence

I used to treat male incontinance years ago. My main clients were middle aged truck drivers with huge distended abdomens and even some rectal prolapsing. At the time I used muscle stimulation combined with voluntary contraction by the client. It seemed to have a positive effect but was not great as a home program. EMG may be better

re: male incontinence

Would the Biofeedback be EMG or Pressure? I am very interested with what data you have collected.
