    Must have Kinesiology Taping DVD
What is best mobilisation technique and position for assessing and treating acute right sided neck pain with high severity and irritability?

Re: Cervical Spine Pain Assessment and treatment

I think its best to use your normal mobs as gently as possible, always reassessing the patients severity of pain and neck movements.

Gentle PPIVMs of the C/Sp may be appropriate.

If even gentle pressure cannot be tolerated, SNAG may be used to provide movement to the affected/painful side without actually applying pressure to the sore spot.

i feel gentle oscillations with the head fully supportes can be tried initially
then as movemet permints try combined movement principle-that is moving into the opposite direction of primary combination.
for eg-if extension and right side flexion combination causes more pain-move the neck gradually to flexion and left side flexion
later come to neutral maintaining left sife flexion and gradually take to extension and then into extension right side flexion
refer the combined movement manual of edwards
