Evidence Based / Clinical Reasoning one day course Tutor: Helen Millson (M.C.S.P. M.Phil.Sports Phys UCT.) Course learning objectives: On successful completion of the course, the clinician will have: * Some background knowledge of Medico-legal Ethical Issues in Sports Medicine * Understood the scientific evidence of musculo-skeletal taping * Understood the clinical reasoning strategies for the appropriate application of sports musculo-skeletal taping * Demonstrated clinical taping techniques related to sporting population including upper limb and lower limb techniques as well as postural correction strategies. *Gleno humeral joint dysfunction, repositioning an ant translated head of humerus, unloading GH and AC joint, motor control of GH and Scapulo thoracic areas, postural correction, elbow hyper extension injuries, tennis elbow, wrist, hand and fingers. *Planter fasciitis, ankle, achilles tendinopathy, MTSS, patello femoral, patella tendinopathy, unloading muscle injuries (Hamstrings), Knee ligaments, ACL, knee hyperextension injuries.
