Discover the Kimberleys! Rare opportunity to experience this remote and extraordinary area in WA! 6 week Locum. This is a fantastic chance to experience one of Australia’s most remote yet stunning areas! Our client is a small hospital with a emergency service, home and community care services, maternity, medical and surgical wards, Physio, OT, Speech Therapy and Radiography. We require a flexible and competent Physiotherapist to cover 6 weeks holiday from 22 September until 31st October to work with a variety of inpatient and outpatients. All acute cases are flown to the nearest base hospital so the caseload will be mainly peads, general medical and general surgical. Being such a remote area the caseload can be extremely varied so we are looking for a confident Physiotherapist, there will however be support from the Senior Physiotherapist at the hospital. Flights and transfers to and from the hospital will be paid for and accommodation will be provided, rates are negotiable depending upon experience. In terms of experiencing the area, there is a lot to do and see. The stunning Lake Argyle is nearby, only 2km away is Mirima National Park which is a wonderful area of rugged formations, steep gorges and walking trails, there is a famous lagoon and lots of guided tours on offer to get the best out of this exciting experience.
