The ACL : Current Rx and Rehab Guidelines Post Surgery

This day aims to give an understanding of the principles of treatment and rehabilitation for patients following ACL surgery. The course will clarify and determine the criteria for progression from the acute / early post operative phase through to the final functional pre-discharge stage of rehabilitation. Contemporary concepts in ACL rehabilitation will be addressed and while specifically focused on musculoskeletal programmes, the principles taught and discussed can be applied to all spheres of physiotherapeutic practice. The day would be excellent for any health professional involved in ACL rehabilitation including physiotherapists, sports therapists, osteopaths and chiropractors. Whilst the focus is on surgical reconstruction, non surgical repair is often discussed and rehab principles are directly applicableThe day is excellent for all musculoskeletal therapists involved with patients undergoing ACL surgery. To apply for this course and see full details, please see www.physiouk.co.uk
