In light of previous popularity the event will be repeated twice. Using lessons learnt from previous events the mixture of lectures and practical sessions will remain and the emphasis remains on clinically applicable knowledge Speakers: Hakan Alfredson - Surgeon & developer of the eccentric Rx approach, Pure Sports Medicine, London Otto Chan - Consultant Radiologist, London Independent Hospital Peter Malliaras - Physiotherapist, Brunel University Jon Fearn - Physiotherapist, Reading FC .The overarching aim of the day is to consolidate current knowledge into clinically relevant data which is directly applicable to clinical management of achilles problems. The day begins with lectures and the afternoon session consists of practical workshops allowing lecturers to demonstrate the clinical application of the material covered in the morning. The day is aimed at all those with an interest or clinical role in managing achilles problems The speakers we have all have extensive experience in managing Achilles problems and we are very excited as participants will hear both underlying theory and practical, clinical applicable information through lectures and workshops. It promises to be a great day.
