THE MCKENZIE INSTITUTE INTERNATIONAL MECHANICAL DIAGNOSIS AND THERAPY (MDT) The McKenzie Institute International is to offer its Educational Programme in Egypt- January 2008. The McKenzie Institute International is a Charitable Trust registered in New Zealand, and provides worldwide Courses of instruction in the McKenzie Method of Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy®, as developed by Robin McKenzie. The Education Programme is a sequential series of courses leading to the McKenzie Institute International Diploma in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy. The Programme commencing with Part A – “The Lumbar Spine” is a four days (28 hour) course consisting of lectures and demonstrations, including the examination and treatment of patients with low back and referred pain. The theoretical aspects and concepts of the McKenzie Method will be presented and discussed. The patient categories of the postural, dysfunction and derangement syndromes will be described in detail. Appropriate treatment plans will be outlined with emphasis on the use of patient Self-treatment procedures. Expressions of interest are invited from Physiotherapists, Chiropractitioners, Osteopath practitioners and Doctors of Medicine From The Middle East and Africa to attend Part (A) courses to be funded by PRIMEPHYSIO GROUP-UK Cairo / Egypt. 4-7 January 2008 Naser Institute Hospital-Cairo
