Re: Phonophoresis

I have recently been trying to find research to back up the use of phonophorsesis. I am not having much luck. Most research was done on animals only or was carried out 20-40 years ago. Of the more recent research 2 studies suggest that ultrasound with 10% hydrocortisone does not result in penetration of cortisol to either the blood plasma or muscle tissue.
So why do we use it??
any input??
g

Re: Phonophoresis

Try to find the desired salt in local pharmacy brands available in your country. Check any good pharma Guide to find any ointment or gel preparation or salt available in local brands. Your pharmacist may help you better to find the right salt or preparation for that.
