Future of Physio

What in your opinion is the future of physiotherapy?

Will it become more inclusive of holistic non-invasive therapies and become the primary health profession.

Or is it only surviving because of the poorer health of western americans/canadian/british and increase problems due to conflict etc.

Re: Future of Physio

It already is a Primary Health Profession in many countries, e.g. Australia, New Zealand and the UK.

Re: Future of Physio

In the US, I think we'll see PT become less inclusive of hollistic treatments and continue its shift toward emphasis on evidence-based treatments.
The pollitical enviroment over here may make it difficult for PT to become a point-of-entry into the health care system (at least in the near future).
