Re: broken tibia

hey andy, full weight will depend on how stiff u are and how tough u are! b/C u had surgery, you will be stiff so may need to keep the crutches or have a stick handy for a few days to a week, and will likely need 4-10 weeks of physio to loosen things up for you. good luck, you'll need to be patient!

Re: broken tibia

thanks for the reply, i get the pot took off next week are there anything i can do to help while the pot is still on? i have started resting it on the floor when i am sat on a chair with the weight of my leg resting on it it feels fine apart from the plate feeling very very strange, almost like if i put any real weight on my leg the plate is going to slip out of my skin. On the subject of toughness that aint really a problem i broke it boxing, haha that takes me to my next question how long will it be before i can go back to full training sparring, skipping etc?

Re: broken tibia

i have had my pot took off and been trying to strech my ankle off, it was like cement to start with but now i can walk with one crutch, i do occasionally get a really deep pain in the ankle when i put a little to much weight on, is that the break or just the muscles being streched out again?
