Portable Physio Table

Hey there, I am studying Industrial design in New Zealand and for my major project i am designing a portable massage table for travelling Sports physiotherapists. I was hoping that I could get some feedback on this forum about my concept . .

Basically I want to design a table that is much lightet than existing ones. . also dealing with the experience of transportability - existing table get thrown around airports , team buses etc. Another important design aspect will be looking at alternative foam options. . takin the bulk out of existing tables, and making the adjustability more user friendly. .

Any comments or feedback would be greatly appreciated.

I will be posting drawings and developments as i go

Re: Portable Physio Table

Good luck with that.

As you probably already know, there are trade-offs with everything you do.

If you want light, will it be as strong and sturdy?

If you want ease of adjustability, will it be too large or complicated?

If you want different, less thick foam, will you get the conformity around the patient that you need to make certain techniques comfortable?

Some questions for you to think about...no doubt you already have
