Hi,

It is one thing to have a resume but, as an employer, i like the good ones to stand out.

(please note, i haven't had time to look at sdkashif's links but i am sure they are good - i am only giving an opinion on what i look for...)

I like resumes that consider what I, the employer, am looking for. People always respond to advertisments with generic cover letters with general resumes.

A good resume should highlight why hiring you would be the best thing me.

You have to make yourself stand out. Point out the special skills you may have. If you don't have any, then list them as goals to achieve. Point out your attitude to work.

Having said that, the worst thing is having someone say they are a good worker with a good attitude and then find they aren't. NEVER LIE.

I hope it helps!
