re: electro-interferential therapy

Try finding a book by Low and Reid called electrotherapy explained. It should cover your topics of interest. Also you should post this messgae in the EPA forum. You will get more answers there

re: electro-interferential therapy

IF is facing a few tough years, it seems to be standing in the corner collecting dust in many hospitals and PP's
Theoretically there is a setting for acute and chronic pain but a can't remember what it is. Really, it's a bit like tens, just use what the patient likes best, it's only symptomatic treatment. It will not cure them, it actually makes them more dependant!

Re: electro-interferential therapy

Hi all, Our company Alto Health has accumulated the research of the IF and created a manual for specific treatments including their frequencies and pad placement charts.

We would be willing to sell these manuals, that normally accompany our machines, as seen in this thread http://www.physiobob.com/forum/showt...5098#post15098 for a reasonable price.

if you would like to request a copy please PM me and I will organise one to be posted out after payment.

regards
Rae.
