If you like the real thing.......

Hey guys....

Now I am not sure what you are looking for. Are you looking for explainations, movement dynamics, origin and insertion, or just plain old pictures?

I will share one of my favorite sites if you are interested in pictures. I have done anatomy courses three times throughout my career and combined with the experience I gain through my clinic, I have found texts to cover things I already know. But I refrence this site because it has cadaver studies which gives me intimate pictures of the areas I work on...

ect.downstate.edu/coursew...ne/toc.htm

Another site(s) I look at are related to the formerly known "ADAM Project". It is now known as the Visible Human Male/Female. The Visible Male subject was in the "prime" of life (40's). He was sliced into 1mm segments and photographed. You can now view the entire body in coronal or sagital segments of various depths which I find invaluable when researching joint structures. The Visible Female subject however was in her 60's-70's. Atrophy and fatty deposits/invasions are everywhere which gives me a realistic impression of structures in the aged. It is a java based program downloaded to your webrowser and works on any OS. There are some programs that allow you to view a movie of the sections you are interested in. I wont give you a direct link to it because there are so many programs out there. Just do a google search on the "Visible Human Male" or "Visible Human Female".

Hope this helps
Adamo

Have you downloaded the physio toolbar? There about 20 online learning links dedicated to anatomy and body systems on the toolbar. Amongst them we cover most body parts and systems 8o
