hello! i have a friend who is pursuing a course in product design. he has to design a medical product to assist the elderly ill.
anyone have any ideas? thanks tonnes!

what about covers for stick or crutch handles, to either aid grip and reduce slipping from sweaty palms, reduce soreness from constant use, and/ or add a little individuality to peoples walking aid...?
I've seen one very easily made material cover on an elderly person's stick, and she was the envy of the whole ward!!! Simple I know, but maybe an idea?

Where are you from, maybee we use equipment that is very common to us but you might not have it. Nikistraw's idea's I like. I'm asking a friend if he has any ideas. Will get back to you
