I am a young, enthusiastic and professional physiotherapist with a BSc Hons awarded from the University Hospital of Wales, Heath Park Cardiff, Cardiff University in July 2009.
I have been working in London for the last 6 months as a Respiratory Physiotherapist in the Royal London Hospital on the Vascular Surgery and Medical wards and I have also worked as a Physiotherapist in Mile End Hospital, London as part of the Community Cardiorespiratory Rehabilitation team. (Barts and The London NHS Trust and Tower Hamlets Primary Care NHS Trust)
Othe experience includes student rotations within a broad range of fields - Including:
- The Artificial limb and appliance centre
- Trauma and Orthopaedics,
- A&E, General Medicine, Acute Medicine (7-Day working hours service experince)
- ITU, HDU, Critical Care and General Surgery (Experince with On-Call in ITU at the University Hospital of Wales, Cardiff)
- Community Rehabilitation (Wide range of pathologies)
- Musculoskeletal Out Patients & Hydrotherapy
- Out Patient Hand Unit Physiotherapy
- Neurology - Stroke Rehabilitation on a Stroke Unit
(all month long rotations)
Also experience with running an elderly fitness class and in two private physiotherapy practices including experince with sports physio within Cardiff, S.Wales. (Physio Matters and The D.T.R. Clinic, Cardiff)
CSP and HPC registered. Seeking work within Wales/England, UK.
I feel I have the personal commitment, passion and determination to do well in my Physiotherapy career and overall I feel I have alot to bring to a team seeking a new Band 5 Physiotherapist.
